Class introduction
Throughout the course, students will participate in a diverse range of learning activities, including in-depth analysis and discussion of the works, along with writing assignments and other exercises designed to enhance critical thinking and communication skills. These activities aim to help students develop a robust understanding of the cultural, historical, and literary context of each work, fostering their ability to analyze and interpret written and spoken Spanish.
In addition to the core content, students will receive comprehensive test preparation resources, such as practice exams and review materials. These resources will help students feel confident and prepared for the AP Spanish Literature and Culture exam.
Outcome
- Develop advanced skills in the in-depth analysis and discussion of Spanish literary works.
- Develop confidence in their ability to understand and analyze the language
- Improve critical thinking skills through writing assignments and various activities, contributing to a deeper understanding of complex literary, historical, and cultural contexts.
Feedback
Students and their parents will receive brief feedback after each class, via Teachworks, regarding the student’s general participation in class. Students will also receive feedback on graded assignments via email.
