Class introduction
The AP Physics Prep Class is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in college-level physics courses. This course is specifically tailored for students who plan to take the AP Physics course and exam, ensuring they are well-prepared for the material covered in class.
Led by an experienced AP Physics teacher, students can expect a comprehensive review of the most challenging areas of the AP Physics curriculum. These areas include systems, fields, force interactions, change, and conservation.
The course is designed to be interactive, placing a strong emphasis on conceptual development. Through engaging activities such as discussions, group work, and independent research projects, students will foster critical thinking skills and the ability to apply physics concepts to real-world situations.
Students will have a comprehensive understanding of the College Board’s curriculum. The primary aim is to provide students with a solid foundation in the key principles of physics. Additionally, the class will offer test-taking strategies and valuable tips to help students perform at their best on the AP Physics 1 exam day.

Feedback
Students and their parents will receive brief feedback after each class regarding the student’s general participation in class. Students will also receive feedback on graded assignments via email. At the end of the course, the student will receive a final report card, which thoroughly speaks to their overall participation in the course, including major assignments.
