About Ocean Awareness Competition
The Ocean Awareness competition is a unique opportunity for young people to learn about environmental issues through art-making and creative communication. This competition provides a platform for students to explore their relationship with a changing world, become advocates for positive change, and learn about the urgent need to address environmental issues.
The 2022 Ocean Awareness competition, titled “What’s Interesting About Climate Change,” challenged students to learn about climate change and its impact on the ocean, encouraging them to explore new ways to communicate the urgency of the climate crisis.
As global warming and ocean pollution continue to escalate, governments worldwide are calling on people to pay attention to solving environmental problems. Top universities in the United States are investing heavily in “environmental science” and “sustainable development anthropology” to cultivate useful talents. The Ocean Awareness competition is an excellent opportunity for applicants to convey their love for environmental science and make a difference in the world.
