USA Computing Olympiad
The competition consists of four increasingly difficult online exams, test students on algorithmic programming and problem-solving skills. You must score high enough on each exam to advance to the next level. Top-performing students are invited to participate in the USA Computing Olympiad (USACO) training camp. They receive intensive instruction and a chance to compete for a spot on the USA International Olympiad in Informatics team.

1. Eligibility
This competition is open to all secondary school students in the U.S., including homeschooled students.
2. Schedule
The 2023-2024 season starts with four contests, at the end of the season, teams will be chosen to represent the USA at the International Olympiad in Informatics in Egypt and the European Girls Olympiad in Informatics in the Netherlands.
3. Dates
- Dec 15-18: First Contest
- Jan 26-29: Second Contest
- Feb 16-19: Third Contest
- Mar 15-18: US Open
- May 23-June 1: Training Camp
- Jul 21-27: EGOI (The Netherlands)
- Sep 1-8: IOI (Egypt)
