Competition Details
Students will participate in State/Territory events through YouTube video submissions, listed on the MYYIS Calendar. If a U.S. state or country isn’t listed, students can register for the U.S. OPEN or International OPEN Stock Pitch Competitions, respectively. YIS reserves the right to assign students to appropriate events. State/Territory winners will be invited to the in-person Global Youth Investment Summit, a two-day event featuring workshops, speakers, finance games, and a case study competition.
1. Competition Format
Students can compete individually or in teams (including cross-school teams). They submit YouTube video presentations for state or regional judging.
2. Timeline
Registration opens February 17, 2025, and closes April 2, 2025. Submissions of reports, PowerPoint presentations, and video links are due the same day.
3. Progression
State winners advance to the Global Youth Investment Summit in New York City (May 29-30, 2025). This summit includes quarterfinals, semifinals, and finals, along with workshops, networking, and professional insights.
4. Support Resources
Participants have access to tutorial videos, templates, and guidelines to help them prepare. Events like the Stock Pitch Prep Night provide direct mentoring and advice.
