Aralia Student Awards
Aralia students have achieved a total of 14 major awards in the 2024 National Latin Exam, demonstrating their exceptional skills and commitment to academic excellence. The awards include:
- 8 Gold Medals
- 5 Silver Medals
- 1 Bronze Medal

Introduction to the National Latin Exam
The National Latin Exam is held annually for Latin students across the United States and worldwide. It provides students with an opportunity to reinforce and recognize their classroom achievements. Based on their scores, students can earn certificates, and medals, and even qualify for scholarships.
Students need to answer 40 multiple-choice questions within 45 minutes and can participate in any of the following 8 levels:
- Introduction to Latin Exam
- Beginning Latin Exam
- Beginning Latin Reading Comprehension Exam (New in 2025)
- Intermediate Latin Exam
- Intermediate Latin Reading Comprehension Exam
- Advanced Latin Prose Exam
- Advanced Latin Poetry Exam
- Advanced Latin Reading Comprehension Exam
The timeline for the 2025 competition is as follows:
- Registration opens: August 26, 2024
- Paper exam registration deadline: January 24, 2025
- Online exam registration deadline: February 14, 2025
- Exam window: February 24 to March 14, 2025
