One Teen Story
Started in 2001, One Story is an organization dedicated to publishing short stories from writers around the world. One Teen Story is an opportunity for teen authors to be published, professionally edited, and paid for their work.

Competition Details
1. Eligibility
Students must be between the ages of 13 to 19 as of December 2, 2024.
2. Submission Genre
Short stories of any genre about the teen experience—literary, fantasy, sci-fi, love stories, horror, etc. Submission should be about the teen experience.
3. Submission Guidelines
Short stories should be between 2,000 and 4,500 words and be the writer’s own original, previously unpublished work. Students are allowed to submit one short story.
4. Prizes
The winning stories will be published in the forthcoming issues of One Teen Story. The contest winners will receive $500 upon publication and 25 copies of the magazine featuring their work. They will have the opportunity to work with an editor prior to publication.
Honorable mentions will be chosen in three age categories: 13-15, 16-17, and 18-19
