Class Introduction
The AMC 12 Preparation class is tailored to help students master advanced mathematical concepts and develop the problem-solving skills required to excel in this challenging competition. AMC 12 exam and discuss test strategies for taking the exam. The focus is on approaches and methods via examples and exercises in the textbooks, as well as working on exam problems from past years. The final exam will be a timed test, simulating an actual AMC 12 exam.
Outcome
- Gain proficiency in higher-level mathematics, including advanced algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and precalculus.
- Develop advanced critical thinking and analytical skills necessary for the AMC 12 exam.
- Familiarize yourself with the structure, question types, and time management strategies specific to the AMC 12.
- Learn and apply techniques for answering multiple-choice questions efficiently and accurately under timed conditions.
- Build confidence in your mathematical abilities and enjoy the challenge of solving advanced problems.
- Establish a strong foundation for success in future math competitions, such as the AIME, USA(J)MO, and other prestigious contests.
Feedback
Students and their parents will receive brief feedback after each class regarding the student’s general participation in class. Students will also receive feedback on graded assignments via email.
