Class Introduction
This is a group class where students will receive tailored feedback and coaching to each specific needs that will be identified on the first and second class.
This course is open to more advanced students or students who want to work independently and are committed to developing a focused body of work with the support of a teacher. An artist’s statement, and a portfolio suitable for presentation purposes can be develop if needed by the student.

- National Geographic Student Photo Contest
- Scholastic Arts
- Sony World Photography Awards – Youth Category
- Rocky Mountain School of Photography High School Photo Contest
Outcome
- Have a completed body of work ready to present to contests or for college applications
- Improve their photographic skills by building a cohesive body or work in a group setting
Course Content
- A MacBook with Photoshop
- A digital camera with its memory card and a card reader
- Access to Google drive

Feedback
Students and their parents will receive brief feedback after each class regarding the student’s general participation in class. Students will also receive feedback on graded assignments via email.
