Class Introduction

The National History Day Preparation Program is a course designed to help students prepare for National History Day, a nationwide competition that encourages students to explore historical events and ideas. Through this program, students will have the opportunity to research and analyze a topic of their choice related to history, and to present their findings in various formats, including exhibits, performances, documentaries, and research papers. The course will give students the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in the competition, including research methods, critical thinking, and presentation skills. 

Class Schedule

Approximately 10-20 hours of one-on-one sessions, with the option to adjust the hours depending on the student’s specific situation and needs.

Feedback

Students and their parents will receive brief feedback after each class regarding the student’s general participation in class. Students will also receive feedback on graded assignments via email.
