Class Introduction
Our program is designed to help students develop the skills and knowledge they need to produce top-quality research papers that meet the standards of The Concord Review. Our program is perfect for students who are passionate about history and eager to take their writing to the next level.
Our experienced instructors will guide students through every step of the research and writing process, from selecting a topic to conducting research, organizing ideas, writing and editing their papers, and submitting them for publication. They will also provide personalized feedback and support to help students achieve their goals. Through our program, students will learn to develop their analytical, research, and writing skills, which will benefit them in all areas of academic study. Students will not only develop their academic skills, but also gain a deeper understanding of historical events and their impact on society.
Outcome
- Develop research and analytical skills needed to write a high-quality history research paper.
- Understand the format, style, and structure required for publication in The Concord Review.
- Gain knowledge of research methods, including selecting a topic, conducting research, and organizing information.
- Improve writing skills, including the ability to write clear, concise, and engaging prose.
Class Structure
Approximately 10-30 hours of one-on-one sessions, with the option to adjust the hours depending on the student’s specific situation and needs.
Feedback
Students and their parents will receive brief feedback after each class regarding the student’s general participation in class. Students will also receive feedback on graded assignments via email.
